Dental Implants to Improve Dentures

The only way to improve dentures for stability and retention, especially lower dentures.

Do You Have This

Desire to prevent teeth from accidentally falling out of the mouth

Desire to improve chewing efficientcy

Desire to improve denture stability and retention, especially lower dentures

The Solution

Your denture can be attached to dental implants the same day.

A dental implant is an artificial tooth replacement made of Titamium.  It is placed into the jaw where the normal root of a tooth would exist.  Then an abutment is attached to the implant and the denture snapped onto the abutment to hold the denture in place.

The Advantage

Your denture will attach to dental implants that will hold your denture in place.  Normally, a denture sits on bouncy and moveable gum tissue.  By placing implants and using them as anchors to your jaw, you will experience more control and stability of your dentures.

Your dentures can be attached to dental implants the same day they are placed.

The Disadvantage

Dental implants are more expensive and require a brief healing time.  During the healing period your current denture will be adjusted to accommodate the dental implants.  A new set of dentures may also be necessary, especially if your dentures are older.

The Alternative

There are no alternatives for dental implants supporting dentures.  Although a better fitting denture may make a difference.  Dentures should be replaced every 5 years because the gums and bone supporting the denture changes over time.  You should not use denture adhesive to support your dentures.
